Jerry L. McNinch

 

Mr. McNinch has over 40 years of experience and is a subject matter expert in the areas of human intelligence, terrorism, and national security. His expertise includes physical and operational security, personal security operations, weapons, demolitions, strategic planning, and covert tactical operations.

 

Prior to founding GSᶟ, Mr. McNinch served 30 years in the United States Army Special Forces, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  He served five years as a Senior Intelligence Officer with the Intelligence & Analysis Branch of the United States Department of Homeland Security and seven years as an Intelligence Officer for the United States Department of Justice having provided strategic and operational leadership in uniquely challenging situations at two of the most prestigious and multifaceted federal agencies in the United States. He has an exceptional background and experience in all phases of counterterrorism strategies, and integrated security planning and solutions.

 

 Mr. McNinch was responsible for the investigative and protective intelligence, threat assessment activities, technical security, information technology and emergency preparedness supervision and security operations that assured the safety of personnel detailed to the Regime Crimes Liaison Office, the Iraqi High Tribunal, and the subsequent trial of Saddam Hussein.  Under his role, Mr. McNinch implemented a strategic approach to security structure, functions and operations, resulting in no loss of life under his watch.   Mr. McNinch assisted in the prevention of terrorism – through intelligence sharing, investigations, regulation, training, and an expanded international presence.

 

Mr. McNinch received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and History from the University of the State of New York.   He is a graduate of the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College, Ft Leavenworth, KS.  Mr. McNinch completed studies at the U. S. Army War College, Carlisle, PA; graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation College of Analytical Studies, Quantico, VA; earned a Certificate in Homeland Security Studies from Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel; and is a participant in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Intelligence Community Advanced Analyst Program. He has lectured at the University of Nebraska's Department of Emergency Management. Mr. McNinch is a member of the Governor’s “Nebraska Infrastructure Protection” committee; an active member of the Great Plains Chapter of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP); and twelve continuous years as a Task Force Officer on the Federal Bureau of Investigation Joint Terrorism Task Force.
